How agencies charge: almost always commission

Most serious agencies work on commission on what you earn, with no fixed fee. That way the agency only earns when you do. If someone asks for money upfront to "activate" your account or "join" the agency, that's a red flag.

Market ranges

  • Full management (strategy, messaging, marketing, monetization, privacy): usually between 30% and 50%.
  • Messaging only (chatting): usually lower, since the agency doesn't handle growth.
  • Marketing or launch only: sometimes charged separately or for a limited time.

The percentage alone tells you little: what matters is what it includes and what it's calculated on.

Gross vs. net: the difference that changes the most

OnlyFans keeps 20% of what you earn and pays you 80%. A 40% commission "on net" is calculated on that 80%; a 40% "on gross" is calculated on 100%. Same number, very different cost. Always ask: is the percentage on gross or net?

What must be in writing

  • The percentage and what it's calculated on.
  • Which services are included and which aren't.
  • When and how the commission is settled.
  • How long the contract lasts and how it ends.
  • That the account, email and payouts stay in your name.

How to compare two offers

Run both with the same hypothetical earnings: subtract the platform's 20%, then each agency's commission, and look at what you keep and what you get in return. Sometimes a higher commission with a team that really brings traffic leaves you more than a low one that does nothing.

How we work at Elaia

Applying is free and there are no upfront fees. We explain the terms of each offer on the video call, and they're in writing before you sign. If you already have an offer from another agency, we'll review it with you.

Frequently asked questions

Is 50% normal for an OnlyFans agency?
It's the top of the range. It can make sense if the service is complete and delivers, but it has to be justified and in writing.
Does the agency take a cut of tips and paid messages?
Usually yes, on everything the account earns. Confirm before signing.
