What does an OnlyFans manager do?

An OnlyFans manager or agency handles everything except creating the content: strategy, messaging, marketing and sales. Here's what they do, what they charge and how to spot a good one.

Strategy and growth

They define your niche and positioning, subscription price, what to post and when. A solid strategy means you don't depend on luck or a single viral video.

Chatting

This is where most of the revenue comes from. A team of chatters answers your fans 24/7, in your voice and within your limits, selling pay-per-view content (PPV), tips and custom requests.

Marketing and traffic

No traffic, no subscribers. The agency runs or advises on your social accounts (TikTok, Instagram, X, Reddit), sets up collaborations and promotions, and helps keep your accounts from being banned.

Monetization

Mass messages, content bundles, seasonal campaigns and strategies to keep subscribers renewing. It's the difference between having followers and having income.

Privacy and security

Geo-blocking so you can't be seen from your country or city, leak takedowns (DMCA) and identity management if you want to stay anonymous.

Analytics and organization

Reports on what you earn and which content sells best, plus a weekly plan so you can focus on creating.

What does an agency charge?

Almost all agencies take a percentage of what you earn. In the market, full management usually takes 30% to 50%, calculated after OnlyFans' 20% fee. Chatting-only agencies tend to charge less.

Before signing, always ask: is the percentage on gross or net? Is it on everything you earn or only on what the agency generates? How long is the contract and how do you end it?

Red flags: what a good agency never does

  • Charging you anything upfront.
  • Taking over your account, email or passwords.
  • Charging commissions that aren't in writing.
  • Contracts with no exit or abusive penalties.
  • Pressuring you about the type of content.
  • Promising guaranteed income figures.
